MATTERIO / GDPR
Privacy policy
Information about personal-data processing on matterio-eu.com under Article 13 GDPR.
1. Controller
The controller is Matterio EU Sp. z o.o., ul. Kazimierza Morawskiego 5, 30-102 Kraków, Poland, tax ID 6762699674, KRS 0001188012. Contact about personal data: ep@matterio-eu.com. If we appoint a data protection officer, we will publish their contact details here.
2. Data we receive
We receive data directly from you when you use the form, email us or choose direct WhatsApp contact. The form may include your name, email address, company, project city and country, selected service and project description. Technical handling may create request, time, browser, IP and request-identifier data; an IP hash is used only briefly to limit abuse.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- replying to an enquiry and taking steps at your request before a contract — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR;
- business correspondence, preparing an offer and establishing, exercising or defending claims — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is handling enquiries and protecting the business;
- meeting accounting or other legal obligations where applicable — Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
This website does not run a newsletter or advertising profiling. If we later ask for marketing consent, it will be separate, voluntary and withdrawable.
Providing data is voluntary, but without your name, email and project details we may not be able to respond. These fields are required in the form; company name is optional.
4. Form and Telegram delivery
After you submit the form, the enquiry is sent through a secured endpoint to the Matterio team in Telegram. The website does not save the enquiry body in a database. A technical delivery receipt without the enquiry text may be retained for up to 24 hours. Telegram processes data as a separate provider under its privacy policy. Please review its current terms before sending an enquiry.
5. Recipients and transfers outside the EEA
Data may be available to authorised Matterio staff and providers of hosting and site security, Telegram, email and — if you choose that channel — WhatsApp. Providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, the transfer mechanism is the one stated in the provider’s current terms, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. See the WhatsApp EEA policy and Telegram policy. You may ask us for further information about safeguards.
6. Retention
We retain enquiries and correspondence for as long as needed to respond and handle the matter, then for as long as necessary to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend claims. If a contract is formed, relevant records are retained for the periods required by accounting and tax law. We set the period by purpose, record type and limitation periods, and delete data when there is no longer a lawful reason to keep it.
7. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, portability. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. We normally reply within one month. Email requests to ep@matterio-eu.com; we may request information needed to verify your identity.
You may also complain to the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office: uodo.gov.pl/pl/p/kontakt.
8. Cookies, logs and security
The website does not use its own advertising, analytics or marketing cookies. Hosting may use essential cookies and security logs needed to operate the service and prevent abuse. We do not make solely automated decisions or profile people based on the form. We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to risk, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed absolutely secure.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when the website, services or law changes. The current version is published at matterio-eu.com/en/privacy/.
